A Radiopharmaceutical is a medicine that can be used for both therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. It consists of an organic molecule linked by a radioisotope. The organic molecule transports the radioisotope to certain organs, tissues, or cells. These characteristics are used to select the radioisotope.
