About Conference

We extend a warm welcome to all experts and researchers worldwide to join us at the G20 Global Health Summit Japan, an international conference scheduled to take place in Japan from 9th to 10th October 2023. This summit aims to gather leaders and representatives from the Group of 20 (G20) countries, which encompass some of the world's largest economies, as well as invited host nations and international organizations. Its main objective is to tackle global health challenges and foster cooperation among nations to enhance global health outcomes.

Theme: “Making Affordable and Accessible Health Care”

The conference aims to provide a venue for discussions, knowledge exchange, and teamwork on a variety of global health concerns. Combating contagious diseases, bolstering healthcare systems, assuring access to necessary drugs and vaccines, addressing concerns with mental health, and advocating universal health insurance are a few examples. The need of being ready for and responding to public health emergencies like pandemics and natural disasters will also be emphasized at the summit.

To encourage in-depth conversations and the exchange of ideas, a variety of seminars, panel discussions, and workshops will be presented during the conference. These discussions will include issues such novel methods for providing healthcare, the discovery and development of new medications, methods for financing medical care, and the improvement of health systems in low-income nations. The G20 Global Health Summit gives participating nations the chance to highlight their accomplishments in the field of health and exchange best practises with others. It also acts as a platform for encouraging alliances, teamwork, and the mobilisation of resources for global health efforts. The adoption of joint declarations, agreements, and action plans to direct international efforts to address global health concerns may be one of the summit's results.
